Awarded 'Experience of The Year 22/23' at the Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards, Wittering SUP is a family run ASI accredited SUP school based on the River Avon at the Arden Sailing Club in Defford , (A secluded venue surrounded by nature with private parking, changing rooms and hot showers) near Pershore and Evesham in Worcestershire, run by James & Alex Wittering. We are so lucky to be based close to such beautiful, tranquil waters just a short drive away from Worcester, Birmingham, Stratford-upon-Avon, the Cotswolds and the nearby market towns of Cheltenham and Gloucester, so if you're visiting the area and fancy learning to stand-up paddleboard (SUP) we'd love to hear from you :) It's all about your wellness, your safety and your experience*: For us, SUP is more than just a fun, water-based activity. It's also a mindful way to nourish your mental health; it's eco-therapy. Everything we do is flavoured with our passion for supporting mental health. Our aim is to make stand-up paddleboarding as accessible as possible whilst following our philosophy of helping folks escape the noise of modern life, reconnect with nature and loved ones whilst learning a new, confidence-building skill that you can take with you on all your travels and adventures. Our approach is patient, calming and whatever is the exact opposite of stress; everyone is a little nervous doing something new for the first time but our teaching style is designed to help you progress at your speed and ensure you have a blissed-out time on the water :)
