Adventure Highlights

Our Welsh 3000s adventure weekend will have you summitting all 15 peaks over 3000ft in Wales over 2 days. It’s one for the daring and determined - a big step up from the National 3 Peaks. If you’re looking for something to push yourself then this is it. Over 2 days you’ll traverse some of the most spectacular and toughest mountain walks and take in the finest scenery in Snowdonia. You will be accompanied by two experienced and friendly mountain leaders who will do everything to help you succeed on this challenge. The route is around 48km (but the walks up to the start point and down from the finish point takes it to about 56km in total) and your total elevation gain will be more than 5,000m. On the way you'll summit well known peaks such as Snowdon, Crib Goch, Glyders, Tryfan, and the Carneddau. Staying in comfortable group accommodation at the foot of Snowdon. You don't have to be a technical climber or a fell runner to do this challenge, however due to its highly physical nature you need good fitness, a head for heights and experience of walking in the mountains. If your fitness is not quite at its peak or if it’s been a while since you did your last mountain hike, if you can commit to a training plan and get mountain fit by July then this challenge is not out of your reach. You need to have walked in the mountains before and be physically and mentally prepared for hiking at heights and up steep ground for extended periods. There will also be scrambling up more technical routes like Crib Goch and Tryfan. You’ll be walking for around 12 hours on both days, which is why we are emphasising the importance of good fitness – we want you to enjoy the weekend and get to those summits!
