Adventure Highlights

Recharge and reconnect on this immersive weekend. Spend a few days in a remote Dartmoor bunkhouse (complete with woodburning stove) nestled deep in the forest. Be guided through the sights and sounds of the natural environment you'll wake up in, allowing yourself the opportunity to put the outside world on pause and take time to reflect. Yoga, meditation and abseiling are amongst the activities on offer on this weekend escape; you decide what you want to get involved in.

Adventure Details

Day 1

Start time 18:00

Arrive and settle in to Dewerstone cottage. We will have exclusive use of the bunkhouse and your stay will be fully catered. Spend the evening around the woodburning stove, meet new friends and begin to invest some time in yourself. Evening meal is provided and will consist of healthy, locally sourced organic food (where possible) typically including; roasted veg, fresh salads, roasted meats, breads and cheeses. Arrival time is flexible to allow for your travel.

Day 2

An early morning energising walk in this beautiful part of the Dartmoor National Park; taking time to catch our breath and enjoy the stunning views over the valley. Return to the cottage for a well-earned healthy breakfast, typically including options such as: fresh coffee, eggs, avocado, tomato, sourdough toast and fresh fruit. After breakfast you will have the opportunity to experience a guided mindfulness meditation in the private riverside meadow. Invest some time on your personal development using our goal setting guides and bring into focus the opportunities ahead of you. Lunch at Dewerstone cottage typically including: herbal teas, fresh salads, cured meats, cheese, olives, hummus and fresh bread. An afternoon adventurous trek through the Plym valley and up onto the open moorland. Experience the benefits of a simple outdoor adventure, likely to produce calming serotonin chemicals and feel good endorphins. Back at the cottage you will have the opportunity for a 1-2-1 life coaching session. Evening meal and chilling out around the woodburning stove, with the opportunity for a night time walk to take in Dartmoor's starry sky.

Day 3

Sunday is all about commitment to action! This morning's energiser involves Yoga on the river bank, waking up tired bodies and getting ready for the adventures ahead.. After breakfast you will have the opportunity to abseil from the Dewerstone cliff! An adventurous abseil, safely covered by our rock climbing instructor, you will be able to challenge yourself on one of Dartmoor's highest abseils. Lunch back at the cottage and its time to head home after a weekend of nature, nurture and maybe a fair bit of adventure too!
