Paddleboarding is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK right now and LakeSUP is here to give you the skills required to get out on the water and give it a go!
We don't require you to have any previous experience, however having taken part in one of our SUP Intro sessions before hand will give you the necessary skills to get out on your own and spend more time on the board!
We use industry leading brands such as Red Paddleboards and Peak UK so you know you're getting quality gear when you visit.

We do require all under 18's to be accompanied by an adult when on the water.
Every participant should be comfortable swimming a distance of 50m.

Choose between 1 Hour, 2 Hours or 4 Hours hire.

Upon arrival at YMCA Lakeside, park up and head straight to the main reception. Here staff will direct you to our SUP shop where we can get you on the water.
There is some paperwork involved so please come 5-10mins early to get this out of the way and get changed for the water.
Long John Wetsuits are optional and we will have some available to hire on the day (however sizes cannot be guaranteed).
If you decide against a wetsuit, please come wearing lightweight, active wear that will dry quickly. Avoid materials such as denim and suede. 

Booking is essential in the summer so we cannot guarantee any walk in hire will be available.
